Just Random Stuff......

Well, I knew this time would come and I am excited that I am doing this so quickly. I'm backsliding, and it is time to recommit. Normally, this would happen after 2-3 months or more of back sliding and then I would half-way recommit.

I'm not talking about half-a$! recommittment, I'm talking about full recommitment. I will start measuring my food again, eating cleaner more wholesome food (sodium levels are over the top!) I've got a goal and I want to keep working to be able to meet that goal.

I think I'm going to try to eat a few more calories. I have found however, that when eating clean, it is a little harder to get in a lot of calories. My tracker has me at about 2000-2400 calories/ day based on my weekly calorie burn. I haven't been making it to the low end, hitting anywhere from 1600-1800 most days. I know a lot of you will be like "that's a lot of calories". But, in order for my body to perform how I want it to when I workout, I must fuel it well. I am not necessarily losing a lot of weight yet, but I can notice subtle changes in the fit of my clothing, which is motivation!

In other ramblings, I became an aunt again last week. I haven't gotten to meet him yet, (only pics) but he is a cutie pie. Mama and baby are doing well. In a sad turn, my BIL's grandmother passed. Amaziningly, it happened about 15 minutes from when niece had her baby. One ends and another begins! The Lord truly works in mysterious ways.

Hubby and I also joined a gym over the weekend and I am excited to try out some of the classes offered. First up tomorrow is a buns, abs and thigh workout.
