After reading the coaching session I was once again reminded of the inter-relationship of how our thinking affects our behaviors and emotional state. Writing a letter of encouragement to yourself as if you were a friend was suggested. I was struck by how often the things I tell myself
about myself are extremely negative. Not surprising, but it was an eyeopener. Learning to see the positive in myself is something which needs practice and a great deal of work.
