Wiped out...

Monday, March 04, 2013

I am starting to really feel run down here within the past three days as there has been a lot going on.

Saturday I worked until 8pm and had to explain about mother and the move to my co-workers, which was not easy.

Yesterday, mom and I drove out and went to the new house out in Indiana (again) and took measurements and also drove around the 2 little towns that are close to where the house is.

Today mom had to be at the hospital for the install of her port for chemotherapy at 7am and the actual surgery started at 9am.

So I have been awake since 4:45 this morning. I did manage to get in a 3 hour nap on the couch from 3pm to about 6:15pm.

And then tomorrow, we must be at the oncologist by 8:45am so my neighbor is taking us and I must be back up by 6:30am.

So I am just running on adrenaline I think and I am so very tired.

And also I have a deep cut on my left hand, as I was peeling an orange and the knife slipped and cut my hand.

It is not bleeding right now, just painful.

Please take care of yourself. You need to be healthy and energized to take care of your mom. May God bless you and your family.

If you ever need someone to talk to, just let me know. I've been there before with my mother. It was a very trying time for everyone.

    Hugs!
