As I drove through the Spark City of health today I mostly made the correct turns. Breakfast was a healthy fruit smoothly. I passed up chocolate that was offered to me at work. I ate a healthy sub. I passed up the very fresh out of the oven cookies. I drank tea, not soda. I did add about 1/4 sweet tea to regular unsweetened tea. I made a turn down the wrong road and mindlessly ate some Girl Scout cookies in the break room. Oops. I stopped at the convience store for pre-storm bread (high fiber) and eggs. I already have my Almond milk and hubby has plenty of skim. I did not buy the candy bar that was calling my name. Finished supper with the proper amount of veggies. I did go considerably over calories. Staying with in calories is my ultimate goal of course but it is not my hard fast goal for this week. I'm simply trying to get back on track with some obtainable goals. What's scary is the calories are a somewhat restrained count and consumption. I Got my water in. 30 minutes on the elliptical followed by 10 minutes of strengthening. Got my laundry done while making Easter plans. Got my church calls done while doing other household chores. Washed the styling gel out of my hair in preparation for coloring my hair in the morning before work. Checkbook is in line to be balanced next. My day was not perfect but I met my goals that I have planned for this week.
I plan to track and plan my intake in the morning. This should help me get closer to my calorie ct. Tomorrow will be even better yet.
