Official beginning of Snap Fitness' Weight Loss challenge. Very good day for the diet. Good day at my regular gym; got to do openers for my bench press part of competition coming up Saturday. Good day at Snap Fitness other than scoring only a 12 out of 30 on their Fitness score test. Got my new black singlet in plenty of time.
Tough day emotionally. Dealing with two youngest and trying to get their schoolwork done. Trying to lovingly teach a 16 yo dd how to drive and slipping up, making her angry with me and me in tears. Finding out someone I love very much is in the early stages of short term memory loss and might even have breast cancer.
Decided not to alter too much of what I'm doing right now as far as fitness and diet. Continuing to eat around 1400 calories relatively low carb and low fat Richard Simmons style, drink 8 cups of h2O, cardio several times a week and keep lifting weights after my two off weeks for competition. The things I'm going to add in for accountability are: Possibly a blog update daily, FB update daily and get to bed by 10:30 p.m. each night. I'm also thinking a menu for me would be helpful. The family has one, but I don't usually eat the same things.
I really want some chocolate right now, so I think I'm going to find a recipe for a low-cal, low fat chocolate cake in a cup. I'm sure I can! That will calm the beast and not cost too many calories.
