Day 3 5% Challenge: encouraging myself

Wow...tough one for me! I like to encourage others. I love being a co-leader on a team of awesomely supportive and helpful teammates. We encourage one another and are concerned for our welfare and progress. But, encourage myself? emoticon

Here is what I'll work on:
1. I will keep Sparking. It is my lifeline to paying attention and being accountable to myself (tracking, chatting, challenges, etc.)
2. I will reach out for help when I am down instead of waiting until I've dug a real hole for myself.
3. I will remember that no matter how long it takes me, I am working on making positive changes in my life. There is more to this journey than just taking off pounds.
4. I will work on my gratefulness...grateful for friendships, a supportive and loving husband, and too many other things to list here.
5. I will remember that no matter what has happened in the past, only good things lie ahead for me!
6. I will have fun on this journey!!!!

    Those are great goals. I especially like the 'have fun' with it ~ when we stop having fun, that's when we need to worry. Are you still on Spark Coach?
Something must be wrong with my email, I'm not getting near the notifications that I used to get to tell me what my 'friends' are doing. I've missed a bunch of your blogs. Its nice to see you blogging, again. Something I have to get back into doing. emoticon

    Hi Jeannie, You've listed lots of good things to encourage yourself and others to stay alive on our Journey to Better Health and Fitness. Losing weight is wonderful but it's only a slice of the pie. I've learned so much with lots more to come. I think we're both what they call "Lifers" and will never quit on our dream to reach Goals we work at and dream about.

    YEAH Jeannie !! N(O Reason hon, to FALL into that HOLE !! its SO DARK and HOLLOW down there,,,and HARD to CLIMB OUT of once down there,,,, often it feels like "something SWEET TO EAT" will HELP for "the moment" , but it doESN"T !! Remember hon,, A SECOND on the LIPS, FOREVER on the HIPS " !
