I had a goal for yesterday, as well as a plan made yesterday for today, and they both worked reasonably well, I am happy to say. Yesterday I did manage to follow my plan not to overeat at the party. There were lots of carrot and celery sticks, and two nice tossed salads, one of which I brought, so those were my main focus.
I also followed my plan for today, but was a bit surprised as I thought the plan for dinner was a turkey casserole heavy on vegetables, but we had lasagna and salad instead. Even so, I only went over my daily calorie allotment by about 60 calories. I will try to make that up tomorrow - that is my plan and I'm sticking to it!
As for my exercise goals, I am right on track! I have decided to carry and use 5 pound weights as i do the walking exercise video, which calls for a stretchy band for upper body. Since I don't have one, I'm improvising.
So, I will follow this plan along. Tomorrow I can have a small lunch and drink tea, so that will help me do better calorie-wise. I will also get back to a breakfast with an egg, a piece of toast, some fruit, and butter on the toast to keep the calorie count low while keeping the nutrition high.
