So I married the love of my life. And we just had a baby girl 5 months ago. Loving my life. Working on slowly loosing the baby weight 1lb at a time. This time I have adopted a mostly Vegan lifestyle and I am loving it. This was a personal choice for me. My hubby and daughter still eat meat and dairy and I cook it for them, but always by organic.
Been following the vegan lifestyle for a few weeks now and my energy is off the hook. People ask where do I get my protein from and what about breastfeeding. Spirulina and plant based proteins have far more protein in them then 1 fat slab of steak and minus the artery clogging junk. I have even noticed my milk supply has increased and my baby is thriving. Shes even pulling up at 5 months now and made of pure muscle it seems hehe. I do believe however, it is not for everyone and it is a personal choice that goes beyond just the dietary factors involved.
If you are interested in it, go educate yourself about the meat and dairy industry. About processed and packaged foods, labels and animal cruelty. Learn about what you put into your body and realize the true impact it is having on your health.
As far as working out I make it a point to be active everyday and sweat as often as possible. For me, this is easy because I naturally LOVE being active. So find something you like and do it. And no I sure as hell don't have 2hrs a day to devote to specific workout routines, but I owe it to myself and my family to not sit my ass of the couch all day and be sedentary.
