Waiting to find out if my kids are coming early

Monday, March 04, 2013

My son is leaving for the Navy on March 13th. My 2 daughters in CT are driving here to see him off. They were supposed to leave on Wednesday, but a storm is coming in and they will be driving right into it, so they are thinking about leaving Tuesday. I am anxiously awaiting to find out if they are going to leave early. I didn't tell them that I was making clothes for my grandchildren. It's a good thing that I am almost done. I should be done by tomorrow. I can't wait for their arrival. I just wish they could stay longer. They are leaving next Monday to be home by Tuesday. I love them so much. I will pray that they have a safe trip. They are driving with 5 kids.

How wonderful that your kids are so supportive of one another. I pray for the safety of the ones traveling as well as your "mother's heart" to be comforted.

I pray they will all travel safely and you get to enjoy them. Know the GC will be happy about what ever you have made for them. Try not to worry.

    emoticon My dear spark friend,

I pray your heart is comforted since as a mother I can imagine what must be going on inside of you to see your son off to the Navy. Please find a way to do what you can as a mother (which I know you will do) but invest time in learning how to LET GO AND LET GOD since their destiny and what will be is unknown.

Make each day one of good communication writing, calling, skyping to keep connected with the children who I can feel you love deeply. Making use of the days god gift us is all we can do. Yesterday is gone, tomorrow not promised and we only have the gift of now.

Fill your heart and head with making the most of your connections and communications with them so much so that you will not be able to worry. When you believe in God and everyone is on their own journey you will realize that your faith will render worry useless. Think of all the things you fear happening if they don't happen you worried needlessly.

If your not busy enough not to worry reach out to others that need the mothering you can offer without your children their you can give it to others.

Hope I helped some since I felt your anxiety in this situation. May God Bless you and Take Care of you and your loved ones always.
