Locker Number Four

I like to have a lot of reminders of my success around me to keep me focused and motivated. On my car key ring I have my Weight Watcher Goal Weight Star, 3 Keys to Lifetime (I lost one), a Fifty Pound Weight Loss Award, and two 5K awards. On my bedroom mirror I have my WW 2009 bookmark with 10 monthly lifetime weigh in stars and on my bathroom mirror I have my 2010 bookmark with 12 monthly lifetime stars. I had my 2011 weigh in star page (no bookmarks that year) copied and on the refrig, but I need to do that again and add my 2012 page. Will do. Do have some WW magnets on my refrig, some I just got in a drawing and a few I earned (Incredible! Awesome! Believe!) I have eight medals from 5Ks and a half marathon hanging in my bedroom. I love my Spark trophies and my screen name and my positive password, too - though I'm not telling that one! These are things that help me keep going, no matter what!

Today I choose a new reminder, perhaps a little more subtle, but significant nonetheless. At the gym I have now decided to use locker number four whenever it is available. It is on the bottom and not on an end, so it is often unused. But for me it is a reminder of my favorite size, Size 4. I'm feeling just so good in my Dockers Size 4 pants these days. I have 3 pair of them. They fit right below the belly button and hug my hips with no gaps in the waist nor the seat. Love those size 4's!!! I do feel slender and healthy in them. Funny, but I seem to eat better and workout harder on days I wear those size 4's compared to when I wear my size 8 jeans that bag in the seat and need a belt. Some people might work harder when they were feeling fat, but I find that I work better building on success. How about you?

PS I weighed 127.2 today, just 1.2 pounds from my target weight!
