I found out on Friday that a friend of mine has lung and breast cancer, she is keeping positive but it is terminal. I have known her for 15 years and will really miss her when the end does come (not something I am thinking about at the moment. She live in Norfolk and luckily I was able to go and see her on Saturday but she has already been in hospital for 3 weeks. emoticon

Sorry to hear about your friend. I have a good friend who survived brain cancer, to get breast cancer and now has the type that Robin Roberts has, She is still waiting for a transplant and we are praying it will come before it is to late. I am hoping to get up to Williamsburg and visit her soon emoticon emoticon

That is so very hard. I lost a friend 2 years ago due to illness. She had just turned 34 and we had been friends since childhood (5th grade). I think it's particularly difficult to lose a peer because you know they have so much living to do still. ((((HUGS))))
