Which 5K should I do!?!? And when? Decisions!!

I REALLY want to do another race. I'm doing a 10K on 4/13, but I want a 5K before then. There is one this Saturday which I'm all for. I was about to sign up and thought "hmm..women's medium, or women's large!" I had no idea what shirt I needed! The last women's tech shirt I have from a race is a large, it's a little too lose, but that's ok. I can always exchange shirts anyways. So then I thought "ahh, but I have my first hour long personal training session on Friday, I'm not going to be able to run a 5K afterwards!" If I'm going to be as sore on Saturday as I was after the introductory, free PT session, then what is a real one going to be like? There was no way I was going to be able to run after that session! And then I also thought "I have to leave the house around 7, will I really be able to wake up around 6:30 since I'm not going to bed until 1 or 2?" UGH! But the course is awesome! It runs right through uptown Charlotte past both major hospitals. It would be awesome!
So I don't think I'm going to sign up for the race this Saturday. I REALLY want to though! I just don't know what to do! So I'm looking at races NEXT Saturday at St Patty's day. I really want to do a 4 miler, but it's just one road. How boring! There is no way I'd survive!

How does that course even begin to make sense!? End at a different location than starting AND how do you run that in one loop while cutting through the middle? I'm so confused... Then there is Run the Creek, which advertises it's rolly hills... yeah, that's definitely NOT for me!
Hmm, I did just find one for this Saturday that is in the same location as the other one and starts an hour later, so that's definitely more doable. But that brings up the whole soreness issue! Ah! I don't know what to do!
UPDATE: I'm going to do the 4 miler! Yes, one road is boring, but I really can't do one this Saturday after a PT session on Friday! And I really like the idea of 4 miles. My goal is going to be 40 minutes. I can do it! ..I just have to sign up!
