I have no idea what my problem is

Monday, March 04, 2013

I just cant get it in gear today. I woke up this morning ready to start the day. I get on the track and my energy level just bottoms out. I made myself walk and then hit the gym. I feel like I got a good work out in but I just wish the motivation would have been there. I'm at the lowest weight ive been at in over a year. You would think that would be motivating me but its not!

I'm glad that the time is about the change. I talked to a friend of mine about playing tennis once a week after she gets off of work. I suck at tennis but for some odd reason I do enjoy it.

Some famous runner said "Motivation gets you started. Habit keeps you going." Sounds like you've developed good workout habits. Personally, I find my motivation flags the closer I get to my goal weight!

That's the trick, though, isn't it? Staying on track when you really aren't feeling it... Kudos for that.

Just the fact you are at the lowest weight you have been in over a year is an amazing accomplishment!!!

Tomorrow is another day to do what ever you need to do. I love daylight saving time, so I am too looking forward to Sunday. emoticon

I think we all have days (some of us, weeks!) like that when we just can't seem to drum up the motivation or energy we need. Don't beat yourself up. The awesome thing is that you still worked out even though you weren't feeling it! Kudos! Congratulations on your success so far, and never, ever give up on yourself!

Do things you enjoy. It's the movement that counts not the expertise. Are you getting enough water in before you get to the track and gym? If not that could explain why you are bottoming out. Also, if you have lost so much weight you might need to check your calorie intake. You may need to be eating a few more calories. Keep up the good work
