Anyone have gallbladder issues?

Monday, March 04, 2013

Well, I'm up some weight which I'm not sure how that happened. So I'm blaming my gallbladder. I had a severe attack 2 weeks ago and they wouldn't let me eat or drink for 2 days while I underwent testing. Then by Friday they determined no need for emergency surgery set it for Monday. Then Monday came and they decided, nope!, no surgery, blood work is improving. Lovely - why is there still pain? Why am I weak? Why can't I do a simple work out or eat my normal low fat meals without issues? So when I stepped on the scale this morning and my weight has gone up 10#. Yes 10#! I was not happy. I'm bloated and don't feel well and nothing is being done..........The doctor's office was supposed to have set up a HIDA scan last week when I saw the doctor on Tuesday (after the cancellation on Monday). Have I heard from anyone? NO! So I called them myself and now I'm waiting on a call back.
These entire 2 weeks, I've been scared to eat - anything. When I do eat, I feel sick. If I don't eat, I feel sick. Anyway, I'm about to get a second opinion and have this darn thing taken out so I can get myself back to my normal self - where I can eat healthy (within calories and nutrition) and exercise.
Any other advice would be appreciated!

I have attacks too. I really have to watch what I eat and how much. If I overeat anything, I have an attack. I have it under control to the point where I haven't had to have surgery. As previosly mentioned there are clenses out there and my aunt recommends them, but you need to stay up all night and recover the next day. Personally, I don't have time for that.

Best wishes, I know it is painful....

I had issues that left me screaming one day as the pain was so intense. The Dr. was very worried.

I did a gallbladder cleanse. You can google them. It helped me greatly. Then when I still had pain and bloating issues I did Gerson's coffee enemas. They amazingly helped to remove the pain. I never had tried them before. By the time I had the testing done, I ended up only having sluge. I passed with the cleanses lots of gallstones. I also did herbs like gold coin I believe. It was a set of tinctures you take daily to break up the stones.

I was able to avoid surgery !!!
