Cushion pounds

Monday, March 04, 2013

So even though we went out to eat on Saturday, I am still under goal of 110....at 108 right now. So that means I am prepared for the next splurge! I am really enjoying this way of maintaining for me. It gives me that freedom to enjoy a meal out with a couple of beers and not feel guilty. I am at 19.1 BMI so that is good. I am only 5'3" and really small boned so at this weight I think I look healthy. More important than anything else, I am feeling healthy. Got a great night's sleep last night after not sleeping well the night before due to DH being wacko. What a differnce a good night's sleep makes. Give one a whole new outlook of the day/week. I will walk the dogs and do some errands today.
Hope all my sparks buddies are doing great today.
Make it a terrific week!
Sallie

BMI 19.1 = awesome!! I'm aiming to get to 20 and stay around 20.2, so I'm extremely impressed with your numbers. Congrats on being right where you want to be -- at 108 --and prepared for next celebration. I can see that is a great way for you to maintain. One of my goals, after I get below my goal, is to have celebrations with my family and not to have my splurges alone. Splurges should be an occasion!! -Marsha

From one tiny person to another (4 ft. 10-1/2 in. 100 lbs.) all I can say is any extra lb. has not place to hide! I am happy with my maintenance, too. What works is what's the right thing to do! And my guideline is feeling good, being healthy and I'm both! Woot! That's what it's all about.

As a tiny person myself, a "splurge" for me isn't the same as it is for my sister (6" taller) but that's OK. I define my goal weight and I define my splurge.

Sallie, #1 I'm envious you're down in Mexico. My husband I have spent many winters in Mazatlan but headed to Hawaii this year instead. #2 good for you managing your weight so you can splurge at a special outing. Life is for living after all. Congrats on meeting your goal weight!! emoticon emoticon Enjoy!!
