Would you like to know what is making me scream... and

I have been stuck in the 170's for at least a year now emoticon
no matter what I have tried or am trying.....the emoticon just kind of smirks at me...when I step on it!!! And it is making me totally 'psycho' and not just once I have contemplated to get rid of the scale.....during the Night...when nobody is awake.....bury it in the back yard.....throw it into the dumpster behind the store...down the street... emoticon I don't know....but I have been totally obsessed with my weight NOT going emoticon and have gone 'psycho'!!!

Now comes the part where you can question me...go ahead...

emoticon(you) Have you been exercising?

emoticon (me)Have I been exercising???!!!!....well heck yeah...I have been exercising.....duh!!!!

emoticon Give us some examples!

emoticon You want what?? Examples?? So you are doubting me..pfffft....well here you go...here are some of my exercises I do on a regular basis.. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon


emoticon: You are now speechless!!!


emoticon: emoticon That's right....I do all the above....and then some.....


emoticon: Ok...but are you tracking????

emoticon: Yes.....ummm....ok....well....
for the most part!

emoticon: Aaah....Haaah!!! There you go...don't you know that 'Tracking is the key'??

emoticon: Yes.....i do know...and i need to work on that!

emoticon: What about Water?? Are you drinking your water?

emoticon: Yes.. emoticon...plenty of emoticon so much water that I need to make sure there is a rest room close by.....if you know what i mean emoticon

emoticon: Ok..calm down.....let's not get too excited....so whoopy doo... you are doing two things right so far....but you are saying you are not losing any weight.....you must be doing something wrong....!!!
How about eating...what is going on there??

emoticon: ...Ummm.....my eating.... emoticon well....there was Christmas emoticon and my son was here....and i baked some Christmas cookies and oh my Goodness...you shoulda' been here...they were sOooooo delicious.....I mean...they were out of this emoticon if i may say so myself.... emoticon


emoticon: I am sure they were....and I am sure you kept them far away from yourself..and only had a couple here or there...and of course tracked every on of them??


emoticon: Huh? Tracked?? The cookies? But i thought Christmas doesn't count...since it only comes once a year....the same goes for those donuts at work...or the emoticon a nice coworker brings in...or that Valentines candy emoticon that was so readily available...every corner i turned emoticon. All that doesn't count....right??


emoticon: You are staring at me speechless.....


emoticon: I have a confession to make....I do know what exactly keeps me from going down on the emoticon ....I don't track every Bite.....and I am a chocoholic.....I love sweets.....and that is why it leaves me 'Psycho' ...I can't blame it on anyone or anything else...I have to learn Self control.....That emoticon or Pizza will still be available to buy..or eat some other time......but for now....I need to say "No thank you' and stand firm.....and if i do get tempted...which i will....i need to track it.....

    Taty, Tracking is the key for me too! I also got away from it from Christmas till recently and I DO (usually) eat better when I'm seriously tracking. (with the exception of yesterdays cookie incident! emoticon emoticon ) It was funny that I just made that my status and than read your blog! We think the same often!

    Maybe you've gained muscle, it is heavier.
I do believe that you have been striving
to lose weight for a long time. Maybe you
should take measurements on a monthly
basis, see if that makes a difference. I

    Glad to see your sense of humour is not going down, even if those pounds aren't! You've probably done this, but so you measure yourself too? Sometimes when I feel depressed because I'm not losing weight I measure myself and am thrilled that I have lost an inch or two anyway!

You're getting great advice and truckloads of motivation from other SPs - we know how tough it can be but we know you can do it!!

    Hey, Phycho...lol!
That tracking is where it is at. We know it, but it is so HARD to consistently do! That is where I was losing, when I was tracking every bite.
My immediate goal is to NOT gain weight in the States. And then I am going to come back and focus on me, my tracking, and my exercise. Remember, it is early in the year still, and we made a promise to ourselves. Let's stick to it and reach our goal!

    TRACKING IS KEY - if ya don't know at the end of the day what went in - you should have NO expectations as to what should come off!!
