keeping on track

What are you doing to encourage yourself and keep on track?

The weekday programs are much easier with which to stay on track - they've all cost money and money is too precious to waste! I also will remind myself - and continue to remind myself - of the goal that is set in time.. 6 months minus one week now to get really ready for my big adventure.. and I want to be as strong, flexible, energetic, positive and ready for anything as I can... or fall into a very cold drink or be eaten by a bear!

weekends are tougher.. yesterday I just had to make myself get up and get busy.. I stalled as long as possible but did make some effort at the house part.. and walked longer with Wally than might have otherwise.. still no exercise other than stairs.. next weekend I will just have to get on my case earlier in the day and make myself get busy...

and work on my attitude that all of this can be as relaxing and energizing as sitting and collapsing...

Thank you Tudi for that tidbit of news you left for me yesterday - that is a good motivator to be sure!!!

    Hey, walking is too exercise. And you did that!!! I must have missed a blog with what your big adventure is. Whatever it is, keep it in the forefront of your mind!!!

    I can understand if you are paying for your exercise program where it makes sense to "just do it" as Jillian Michaels". I go to Curves and initially I thought I could only go 3 times a week but the trainer told me I could come every day so I try to take advantage of that. I am finding too, if you can its best to do the exercises in the am because later in the day you can talk out of it too easily. I wish you the best! emoticon emoticon June

    you know , I am at that point where I feel the endorphins after a workout but boy do i crash a few hours later. I wonder if the real feeling isn't that crushed one lol. endorphins are like drugs in a way emoticon just do what it makes YOU feel better. I use to do more workouts in the weekend cause I have more time . lol , wasting money is not a problem for me , and it wasn't when I was really poor either emoticon
