I always need a week to recover from the dang weekend. On Saturday I weighed141.5 which means only .4 to go to reach healthy BMI range. So I ate probably 2300 calories yesterday to celebrate. I won't mention the beer I drank on my anniversary (27 years) Sat night. Probably TMI but I think I may finally be in menopause mode but it's only been two months. I'm kinda blue so my hormones must be bouncing around again. I think they re-adjust every so often as I lose them and it sure makes me kinda sad. I'm not sad to be done menstruating though. That makes me happy. Oh well, that's where I'm at today.
Note to self: It'll be interesting to read this post in about a year.
Lots of workouts planned for this week. Didn't go skiing yesterday cuz it was too cold but walked Bella so that's good. Hoping for a ski outing next Sat.

1BEACHWALKER: UMS is a good one. My husband knows that when I'm on a vent the best thing he can do is take it like a man...haha. I try not to put him through that too often. But at least now he knows what's going on, usually.

I remember my doc told me that when hormones adjust it's not unusual to crave carbs. Yesterday I craved carbs.

My 16 yo got his drivers license yesterday and that adds a lot of stress. Just have to learn not to worry too much. It's very sad watching road raged drivers tailgate him when he's driving the speed limit and being a good young driver.

Looks like we may miss our weekly snowstorm this week! Yippee!!!

I remember my Mom used to tell me when she went into menopause, she would swing her feet out of bed and be mad already! I call mine UMS - ugly mood swings! I am happy to be in menopause (no periods- Yay)-but could do without the hot flashes, UMS and hormone problems, which make it harder to lose weight! But, I trudge on and make the best of it! It is my husband I feel sorry for! emoticon
It is ok to celebrate and eat a little more on a special occasion once in awhile...what I do is find out my maintenance calories and do that for that day. emoticon emoticon emoticon

SLIMMERJESSE, I too will be overjoyed to be done with the whole process. I'm not sad about going through the process, just a little off if you know what I mean. I'm normally a pretty happy person. I think I get like this when my hormones adjust. Or heaven forbid....I have pms. emoticon

Some women go through sadness, but for me, I was overjoyed to be done with the entire process.

Menopause, can cause allot of emotions, and effects your body greatly. You can feel like you are on a roller coaster. It is great after you get through it all. Good luck with everything. Have a great day. emoticon
