Day 4 Menu
Berry Green Smoothie
Tofu salad stuffed pita with salad
Stir Fry with Rice Noodles
Cocao Chia Pudding

My Berry Green Smoothie is simple:
1 cup nut milk
1 cup berries/fruit
1 cup packed greens
1 spoon of chia seeds

Right now I'm fond of coconut/almond milk. I do not add any sweeteners because the fruit is sweet enough for me. Just be careful if you use blueberries, as it will jell up and you will need a spoon to consume it.
I'm finding that I am cutting way back on wheat products. Not that I am avoiding gluten, it's just happening and I am feeling a bit better. Went to an allergy presentation and something is preying on my mind. If I have grass allergies, then wouldn't I have a problem with wheat since it is a grass? Hmmm, just a thought. Your thoughts, please.

I know a lot of people that have cut back on wheat and they say they feel great. I think I have come to the conclusion that popcorn is something that I need to avoid. Every time I eat it I retain a ton of fluid! I am a firm believer that it emoticon emoticon is more than calories that make a difference! What we take in changes who we are becoming! emoticon

I am following your exercise advice of yesterday, funny how that has been my plan but you propeled me forward. Today I gave myself a half hour to wake up, then I exercised with a video for 45 minutes. What a good start to the day before anything else comes along!

I am not brave enough to use anything green in my smoothies yet.

Awesome! I bought a Nutribullet a few months back and have been having a smoothie for breakfast every day: almond milk, 2 cups kale, 1.5 cups fruit. I just started adding flax seed. I'm always shy on healthy fats because nuts, avocados, and nut butters are trigger foods for me.

I don't know about allergies at all, but your line of reasoning on wheat does seem logical. I'll be interested to hear what your research bears out.
