I Will Get There!

Monday, March 04, 2013

I have had a rough time this week. My husband and I came down with a nasty virus. We went to the doctor right away. I can't afford to catch anything at the moment. I don't know if my immune system is strong enough yet. Doctor put me on antibiotics and told me to get bed rest. That is just what I have been doing. For the first three days I did rest in bed a lot. So sick! But today, I am feeling better and so is hubby. I am up and around some today. I had the Inner Ear Test last week. I will find out the result on the 11th as well as the results of the heart monitoring test. My dizziness hasn't been as bad this past week. Just some nasty spells here and there. I had mostly mild dizziness. I hope that is a sign I am improving.
Looking forward to feeling much better and getting outside. I really need to do a lot to the house. It is a wreck in that I haven't been able to clean and take care of it. I have plans for that, too. I am throwing stuff out and donating a lot. I need to clean and reorganize this house. My yard is calling me, too. I need to prune my roses and get them ready for the sunshine. I have plants already bought and waiting to be put in the ground. So I have so real goals to look forward to. I try each day to improve my health. I will get here! It is surely slow, but I will get there! How do I know? Because the LORD is my help!
I am struggling with my weight right now. But I will get there! I have to remind myself this body is the temple of the HOLY GHOST. I have to take care of this body. No matter what happens and what I go through, I have goals. I will get there! My back is still very weak and I do have pain. I will learn to deal with my pain without pain medication. I will get there! With exercise and care, my back will strengthen. I will be better able to move and get around soon. I will get there! GOD is on my side. If GOD be for us who can be against us? Amen! emoticon

Yes you will get there. Hey! If you are looking for a good documentary about the BIBLE on the History channel on Sunday night every Sunday until Easter. In Michigan it starts at 8 p.m. Apparently there is a repeat performance from the program the week before that starts at 6 pm. I was glued to the tv for 4 hrs last night. Actually used the treadmill during the program. Fed my spiritual and physical needs at the same time.

Dont over do it now! Take one thing at a time! And one day at a time. saying prayers for you! Wish I could do more than give advice. If you can juice your greens with purple grapes and kale. It helps build you up! My favorite juice is Kale (2 to 3 stalks) with (2 sticks of) celery, 6 ounces of purple grapes, 4 to 6 ounces of small carrots, a medium apple and a pear! Juice together they taste great and your getting plenty of magnesium and potassium for your spinal nerves. I take that with my morning water or just chug a lug it all at once before breakfast. And usually drink it with my St Johns wort (Great for helaing spinal nerves too! It actually helps heal the nerves gets in sync with the brain ). Hope your feeling better. what helps the immune system is Vitamin B 12 and spurilina (hope I spelled that right!). Get better! Worry about the small stuff later! Hugs susana emoticon emoticon

You have such a great attitude. Stick with it. And if you have to fake it sometimes, then fake it. It's better than falling into despair.

I love to hear about other people's gardening. Living in an urban condo, I no longer can garden and I simply don't have the time between my work and exercise. But I really enjoy reading about other's enjoyment.

Take care of your health and your pain first! The weight will follow! Cleaning, donating, and reorganizing will burn lots of calories! Not to mention gardening can burn a lot more! Spring is coming and is truly a sign that the Lord loves us as he renews his beautiful earth! May your energy be renewed as you watch His world start to bloom!

While you are on those antibiotics it is going to cause issues with your weight. Between those and any meds you are in that is going to cause your body not to want to give up the weight, but it will happen
