So, like I said in my first blog-I'm new at this. I do realize that I need to stay connected to remember my goals and stay accountable. This week I have been sick with the upper respiratory, sinus stuff. The problem is, whenever I get the post nasal drip, my asthma always kicks in. Monday night and early Tuesday I had a slight fever. I slept almost all day Tuesday and Wednesday with only light working out on Tuesday evening (nope didn't log it on my Spark log as that would take to much energy!). Thursday I was feeling great and unfortunately overdid it leaving me drained and coughing on Friday and Saturday. Well, here it is Sunday and I think I may finally be over it. I got a good workout in and then came home (my workouts are on the Wi at my parent's house, my idea of a gym
) and cleaned the house. Tomorrow I have my Pilates/cardio class again (which I missed last Wednesday as I couldn't get out of bed) which I am confident will be great!
Another big plus, as I was folding laundry, I had never noticed how incredibly large my pants are-I mean, no that's not a good thing as I still fit into them (although they are quite loose now), but it is good that I recognize it as not okay. I am losing but I am still far from my goal. I slacked off a bit while I was sick because I could hardly move, but it reminded me how important it is to eat healthy in order to stay healthy. A week being sick can cause stumbling blocks in weightloss, or any goal for that matter. I'm just glad that I can see it and I'm ready to jump up and get going again. "I get knocked down, but I get up again, you're never gonna keep me down..."
