Phew got a second to sit down and write this out.

I need to.

Desperately...

Ok first a brief catch-up. I started back at Law School on the 18th Feb exactly 1 month after I broke my foot. I discovered that week I was allowed to ride my bike!! I have biked everyday since and have been LOVING not being dependant on others (and being free from my crutches!!). Then second week I got a job at the Students Association (yes I am a lucky one who just has jobs literally fall in my lap!!). Then my son stopped going to school. UGGHH. Two steps forward one back right??

This week - Work has become very part time (8-10 hrs pw) which helps but of course this is when study gets to be a workload so it all balances out. Jack ACTUALLY went to school today! I am tired cos I have an 8am Equity class every Monday morning (although someone did go to sleep this morning and snored so funny!!). Healthwise (this is REALLY embarrassing but part of life) Jack must have picked up scabies from somewhere so my weekend was filled with hot washes on the washing machine, the dryer going constantly, vacuuming every few hours and treating ourselves with foul smelling medicine that has to stay on for 24 hours! And I still have a broken foot :(

So my plan MUST include relaxation and rest for my foot. Stress relief for my heart and emotions. Time out for my brain. Exercise for my body and soul. Good food to fuel it all. Easy right???

I spent some time thinking about it and the only things I can control I shall and those I can't I will at least try!!! (Take that AA :)) And this week I will continue to bike to and from and around school for exercise and next week will add some new exercise that I will figure out!!

Ps. I'm backdating. Mostly cos it's my plan so I can.
Pps. I have decided that my stress relief is mainly getting enough sleep and having my healthy breakfast in bed. EVERY DAY.

    I'm going to have to have a lie-down just reading this blog - you are amazing getting through all that and with a broken foot - ouch!!! Congrats on the job, well done indeed. And I hope things settle down with Jack - not an easy job at all. emoticon
