I'm not sure how much I can do to persuade myself to go to bed at a good time! Of course it's important to start GETTING READY for bed in time to land there by 10:30-11. It often takes me about half an hour in all, because besides putting away whatever I've been doing, I put out the next day's clothes to make morning easier, plus the exercise clothes I'm going to sleep in (I wear regular jammies only when I know I'm not going to exercise the next a.m.); take my nighttime supplements; floss, brush teeth, set alarm, change into sleeping clothes.
Here at Spark I've had elements of good sleep habits set up as "other goals" for a LONG time. Being able to check those off, especially the "get to bed between 10:30 & 11" one, is nice, but it's delayed--can't normally do it till the next day, & then I'm not really thinking about it. So that doesn't give me much extra motivation.
Maybe just blogging about it will be enough for now to get me on track. Tomorrow I'll report on whether I hit that magic time window tonight!
