Sunday Blog #7

Hello everyone!!

Well, it seems I have been a bit quiet so let me fill you in.
I was with friends on vacation and got home last Monday night and we have been busy catching up in the business and we have had a guy(a friend from out of town) here working on his race car for several days, and he left today so that means a couple things to me:

1. I can go back to taking my bra off as soon as dinner is over and put my jammies on
2. I can cook what I want without considering "company".

I thought alot about my diet journey while I was gone and decided to go for a 10 pound goal (then another, then another) because my 5 pound mini goals arent working and neither is anything else.

I have my 3 year (THREE YEAR!!!) sparkversary coming up on the 10th and that always make me reflective.

We are in the roofing business and it looks like rain is going to keep us from working this week so we may just take off and go to monterey and along the coast for a day or so....

OH! Another thing that has been happening is that a friend of my kids has a dog that he is unable to have anymore. She is a 8 month old adorable pit bull. She has spent time here and Stitchy puts up with having a little sister (within reason) so we have been FOSTERING (not adopting, my husband said NO. HE is MEAN!!!!)

SO Miss Molly has been here for a week and now will remain for another week till we can find a suitable home for her. We didnt know until Friday whether she would be able to return to her home and the answer is no. We will do our best to find her a great, loving, perfect home (hopefully where we can stay in touch). Puppies take a lot of time and a lot of work (and I love her so it's easy).
Here is a picture of the little angel....see why Im in love??

What have you been up to?

Great to get the update. I live in flannel pants these days when I am not at work. So comfy. I LOVE that baby. Oh my goodness. What a precious baby.

Wow, I never appreciated how nice it is to NOT worry about having to keep my bra on once i get home since we never have company over. Ha! That made me giggle.
You have been keeping busy! And always with a great attitude (regardless of bra status).
I am loving that puppy. Do not lure me in. You know i am only 90 minutes away from you! Ahhhh so cute!!!!

Hugs,
Bren

5 is bra off time, 7 is jammies time, . PS I just bought a new cute pair of jammies in Tucson to wear camping when everyone (well, maybe not the guys who don't do jammies) comes out in the morning in jammies!

She is adorable! There isn't any way to sway DH?

Sounds like you've been pretty busy! Hope you get chance to get away to the coast. That sounds divine!

    What an adorable pooch!

I have been busy losing and gaining the same five pounds emoticon . I just want to lose them once and for all and NEVER find them again.

Happy sparkversary on the tenth in case I miss it!

Enjoy being braless emoticon

Cute puppy! I am such a jammies person, too. My jammies go on right when I get home from work.

What a cutie! Fostering is such a neat thing to do, but also tough if you are a big dog lover like me. My husband and I just started fostering in partnership with our local humane society. Typically they are looking for a 2-week placement for strays and dogs rescued from animal control to make sure they don't have diseases that could impact the other animals at the facility. We are on our second set of puppies right now. I am hoping returning these three won't be as hard as returning the first two. Lots of tears, but also joy in knowing we were a warm and loving step on their journey to forever homes. Good luck finding the right forever home for Miss Molly and be blessed to know you gave her love and tender care while she is with you.

I hear you --- House guests can be fun, but you gotta wear a bra! Same thing happens to me when I'M the house guest. I just don't think my son-in-law wants to see the real me.

I must admit she is a cutie and I am not a fan of pit bulls. Hey I don't wait till after dinner to take my bra off, I never put one on at home unless someone is coming over. Guess it's the 60's child in me, lol.

Happy Spark Anniversary early as we are heading south on the 10th.

Enjoy Monterey, so beautiful.

Pismo was great by the way...perfect weather, 70's and all sun.
