Well, I met with my personal trainer for the first time yesterday.

It was a pretty good meeting. I still don't have super concise goals that made the meeting a little more difficult. I kind of want to work on everything. haha.

I requested a trainer who would be a bit more "boot-campish" and it turns out Jeff is actually in the service and that is how he operates anyway. We did a body fat percentage, blood pressure, sit and reach test, pushups, situps, endurance and a squat profile.

The results = most of my categories fell into the needs work categories (not a huge shocker) except for endurance (for a fat girl I have a pretty good cardiovascular fitness) and pushups. Both of these were in the fair category. I can't wait to see the numbers improve!

One really sweet thing was how much he could tell about me by my squat form. I did my squats in front of this graph paper essentially and he watched my form a bunch of ways. I kid you not. He could tell I was right handed by my squat!! Also apparently my inner thigh muscles are stronger so I get a little knock kneed while squatting so I can tap into that strong power source. I thought that was kind of interesting!

We are going to be doing a significant amount of strength training and circuit work and I am super excited! I've decided to meet for one hour once a week on top of my spin class and yoga class and kickboxing class.
