Yesterday I told all of you lovely people that I'd like my new habit to be exercising everyday for at least 10 minutes. Today I'll tell you my ingenius plan!
First, I have to
making excuses! "I'm too tired" "I'll do it later" "I don't feel like it!" are all too common for me. Well I'm tired of it and it's time for a change. So, no more excuses. I saw in an email today that if you feel like going for a walk just get up and go now b/c you won't feel like it later. Truer words have never been spoken for me!
Second, I will put my exercise plan on my calendar so it's scheduled like an appointment. This keeps me accountable. And I HATE scribbling things out b/c I didn't do them or they were cancelled. It makes my calendar a mess & I don't like messes.
Third, I'm just going to do it! If I want to see changes with my body, I need to make them happen. I'm not just going to wake up one day and magically be skinny.
Today's "workout" will be chasing my nephews around the backyard at Jackson's 1st birthday party in just a few minutes. We'll probably play on the Wii for a bit too. It may not be a walk or strength training, but it's better than nothing!
