2. How will I do it?

Sunday, March 03, 2013

I will take the time, as soon as possible after each meal to track everything that goes into my mouth. Good or bad. I will also try to input my food before I eat it whenever possible, to better plan my days to actually land within my calorie targets for the day.

Good plan! You can do it! Tracking is key and it must become a habit . . . for me anyway! Have a great day!

Good plan! You picked a great habit to develop. I've heard that people who track their diet have more success with weight loss.

It seems many of us are struggling with this, yet we know how much it helps. Why is that? Do we just not want to admit that we are over-eating, or do we think we know what we should be doing. Let us know how you do. I went over in calories today, but I tracked everything.

Best thing I ever did, seriously. You will not regret it. You can actually put all your favorite foods right into your favorites tab. I use it all the time. It literally takes me 5 minutes at night to go to my favorites tab and log almost everything at once. Just choose your food, the amount and Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, or Snack. This is my favorite new Spark feature. they could not have made that more convenient for us (unless they actually have a Sparkperson follow us all day and record it for us )

Have fun with the tracking!

Tracking food is one of the keys to a successful weight loss journey! Planning the day ahead of time is a great idea - keeps you within your calorie range and eliminates any munching!
