Streak into Spring Day 3

My goal is to walk 5 miles per week.

Today I walked 1.04 miles - kinda slow pace even for me. However, I have a friend who says 20 minutes walking is better than 20 minutes on the couch! She is soooo right.

Besides, I plugged in my iPod and listened to Snap Jackson and the Knock on Wood Players, my favorite bluegrass band.

Now for some arm stuff with my new weights! No lilac bush today, it rained last night.

    Fantastic job. When I started walking I could only go for a short period. I quickly worked my way up to almost an hour with a fairly good pace. IPOD was a must. I've been grounded from walking by my surgeon until I get the next hip done, so I'm trying to find other ways to get my cardio in. I have yet to find one as good as plain old walking.
