The end of a long, long sulk

Sunday, March 03, 2013

After three weeks of sulking and eating, I finally got back on the treadmill.

The foot is finally all better (fingers crossed it stays that way) and my mind was ready to run this morning.

Sunday is always the "I can do it! Let's plan my healthy life!" day.

Strongly considering running/walking the Athens Half Marathon in six weeks. I did it last year, and I'd like to do it again with less pressure ... just go and enjoy it and not be so worried about everything.

I had planned to do the Cleveland Half, but I'm cheap and the Athens race is half the cost emoticon .

Happy March! It's cold and snowy here. And the gray - oh, the gray!

You should do the Rock'n Roll Half in the Fall... it's going to be awesome!

My BIL is running the Athens Full and we are going down to visit OU that day with my son. I might be running Athens myself... the Half. That's the current plan at least :-)

This week-end makes up for the last crappy month of cold, grey, more cold, more grey and the winter blahs and bad eating habits that seem to come with that!

Glad the foot is okay- that's huge!
