wow! please don't think i am bragging, i just had to write this, so that i can look back to how i feel, to get me to work out again, when i don't feel like it... i did TAE BO EXPLOSION today, i did better form, and for LONGER!!!! not the whole DVD... yet, but i KNOW i will soon!
i have been working out consistently for a month now (tae bo vids, biggest loser vids, jillian michaels, bob harper, and tai chi, yoga). i feel that tomorrow i will be feeling crummy, since i don't think the scale will give me a "good" number...
first, i am feeling so good about working out. i LOVE the feeling i get just after, a sense of accomplishment, feeling the sweat drip down my reddened face, my shirt soaking wet, chugging water like it is, well.... WATER (lol!), feeling my heart pounding, feeling like i am in a sauna, and (okay, this MIGHT be TMI but i gotta say it) having to peel, roll off my underwear and bra. now THAT is a good, i mean GREAT workout!
i have been seeing little improvements here and there, not huffing and puffing up the four flights of stairs, carrying a backpack, a heavy purse and a lunchbox (filled with fresh fruit, protein, veggies), my scrubs not seeming so tight, having a little more energy, i find myself dancing around to my 80's music looking like a fool, actually WANTING nutritious food! and my husband is commenting that he sees AND LIKES me putting on clothes that FIT me. (i am a classic wearer of baggie clothes, sweats, over-sized shirts, and the dreaded jacket tied around my waist to "hide" my butt)
i feel great, i am so happy that i worked out! oh! and i gotta thank "swimman" for his blog about "100 reasons to work-out", i got it pasted in my kitchen! i am gonna highlight one reason every time i work out, having the goal of highlighting 100 reasons, means i worked out 100 times will be so cool! so i have ONE highlighted already! i am on my way! whoop, whoop!
did i mention that i am seriously considering doing "the warrior dash", and a couple others! i have never thought of really doing them before!!!! i am so excited!
