Getting back to normality

Ians boss rang fri night he just had to go in Sat early to pick up keys for office and a company mobile as he will be on call the next 2 weeks while he covers for Daz
I went in with him at 0630 as i had to pick a parcel at the sorting office.
Thought we would be going shopping but he decided it was a nice day to hell with housework and shops Mystery tour there was 2 steam trains coming through the county so away we went
Ian needed a loo stop so we ended up at a small chocolate factory making expensive chocs it has a cafe so in we go i wached them making chocolate animals while drinking a cup of tea I dont even drink it at home.I bought a chocolate duck and mouse for my GGS
then we drove around an upand down country lanes visited a saturday mkt that had hardly any stalls bought more veg.Round a few more narrow lanes walked took picture of train back to car when across moors to a place i used to visit a a child with my dad there is a cafe the highest in england you can see for miles all the bikers use it the roads are so winding it is a hot spot for them this was lunch stop soup again potato and leek this time with a tasted ch.onion sarnie, then up to the highest town in england down through teesdale called at the butchers Ian got his pies we were onlyabout 25 mile from my mams house i thought we were going there but no off down teesdale to photograph the other train and another walk. got 2 mile in Boss rang to say Ian had another day off so
Thought today would have been quiet Ian didnt mention visiting the kids i started to do the laundry he is at the door with camera in hand asking if i was ready so i threw on my trainers and a jacket over my OLD TATTY clothes and off we went this time up the coast stopped at Haverigg for lunch thsoup i didnt like so i had a burger with side salad then walk along beach a bit thought well if thats it but no turned left at junction and up west coast to St Bees had great walk up steep path to top of cliff boy was the old brick swinging i must have looked a sight but i made it to the top 200ft above the sea and what a view had to sit an hour before i could come down so walked about 3 mile today glad Ian is at work tomorrow I told him i needed a week off ha ha
At the moment not aching too much but i bet it will take some doing getting out of bed in the morning emoticon
