Hi Sparkers ! emoticon

It has been 2 months now since I first started and got committed to my weight loss journey. I started on the first of the year 1/1/13 and have been amazed and Proud of myself for staying committed and still pushing forward. This time around, I really have mentally accepted that I need to do this not only for my kiddos (which are my BIGGEST STRENGTH and my Main reason) but for "Me" and specially for my good health. I need to take care of myself so I can better take care and be there for those I Love. I am in my middle 30's now and it makes me think about what lay's in the year's ahead of me. I have changed my lifestyle by adding exercise at least 5 days a week and watch what I eat (calories/portions). Trying to eat as healthy as possible and yes, there are times when I do indulge in a piece of chocolate or crave the chips and salsa. I do eat this stuff on Saturday's sometimes But I do limit myself on having just a little to get rid of the craving. We all have cravings here and there, right? So, I have been giving it my Best during the week, weigh myself on Saturday mornings and like I said, I cheat a little on Saturday. Back on track on Sunday and on :) This time around, I don't give it All up just because I indulged on something and then end up giving up because I feel like I screwed up (that was before).....NOT anymore, Now, I put it behind me and move on Forward like I have been :). This is what I have been doing for the last 2 months and I am sooooo "EXCITED" to say I have now lost 20 pds so far ........ emoticon emoticon
I do track my workouts and weigh-in here on Sparkpeople emoticon but I am Not one of those who can keep track of her meals and every little morsel I put in my mouth throughout the day. I just try my best to keep track in my mind of the calories I am taking in. I try my very best to stay within my calorie range which is 1,200 calories per day and do push myself to drink those 8 cups of water a day. So far, this has been working for me and I know what I need to do in order to see success in my weight loss journey. DECIDE, COMMIT, SUCCEED - this is what I have done since day one and still committed to stay on track. I have set new Exercise Goal's before the beginning of each month. For this month of March, I have made a goal to keep exercising 5 days a week just like I have been. This month, I am exited to try the new workout I recently ordered, Tony Horton's 10 Minute Trainer ! Just got it in the mail last Thursday 2-28-13 (just in time to start off this new month goal). Will do T.M.T. on M., W., and F. On T., Th., and F. I will go to Cardio 60 class with my workout buddy Letty1998 emoticon She is the one who invited me to this workout in the beginning and I have Really Enjoyed it...Thank You Letty ;) It's Fun !!! and I LOVE the music that gets me all into the aerobic dance workout emoticon with all the positive vibes and cheers of all the other lady's in the group emoticon
I will emoticon emoticon myself on my workouts and stay focused on my goals.

Let's keep at it Sparkers and do this for ourselves.

    Oh my Gosh! I am sooooooo sooooo happy for you! 20 pounds is no joke, my 10 months old weighs that, and lugging him around is no joke either! You are doing amazing, and should be super proud of all your achievements. Take a moment to focus on your success, as we often forget how far we have come. You are an unstoppable force, you are gonna kick some major behind !!!

    Congratulations on losing 20 lbs. I started at the same time as you and have lost 14 lbs so far. I wish it was more, but I have been really sick with a lung infection and haven't been able to exercise and have been on prednisone most of the last month and half, so really I am glad I have lost anything at all.
