My Plan to Develop The Habit of Exercising with the Kids!

Sunday, March 03, 2013

We are developing new habits this week for the 5% Winter Challenge. I want to exercise with my kids more regularly.

My Plan
1. Gather fun kids workout videos and fitness ideas. If we have lots of options, exercising with the girls will be fresh. They also get a real kick out of picking the workout. Picking anything really.

2. Commit to two workouts a week. We will put it on paper and put it on the fridge. This will be a great reminder for me and the girls. Will work on adding a third once we establish the 2x weekly habit.

Great plan for combining fitness and family fun. A visual on the fridge will be really helpful. Have fun!

That's a great habit you're trying to develop! My girls always enjoy it when they join me during my workouts. And they love it when we just dance together, too, which can be a really great workout!
Being a great example to your kids and showing them the way for a healthy living is a wonderful new habit. Good luck!
