After last week's big loss, I was expecting to have a small loss, no loss or even a gain this week even though I stayed within my calorie range every day and worked out as planned. I was right, I went up by 0.4 pounds which is minor, I know. I had a great week and feel good about how I'm doing. I'm eating well and able to do more and more with my workouts. My scale's fat percentage figure shows me losing a little body fat this week as well. As more time goes by and I have more data, I'm sure I'll get even better at predicting the cycle my body goes through. I think that will help me keep my head in the game even if the scale does not cooperate EVERY week. :-)
So, I'm still motivated and feel good about the changes I've made. Plus, what's the alternative? If I have a disappointing week here and there, does it make sense to just give up? Of course not!! I am determined to stay with this and to keep moving forward.
