Strange how much better I felt already.
Too bad I messed it up by getting hooked on House of Cards. It was kind of like a book you couldn't put down. (Once read a 700 page book overnight.) While riveting, there is a penalty to be paid if you follow your desire and do not do what you need to. Not that I'm to old to do all-nighters, but I should be smarter than that. Lesson learned: Do what I need to do to meet my needs, not what I want to do.
In a recent blog 1CRAZYDOG listed her goals. That inspired me to make a list of my own for the duration of my E2 28 day challenge. My simple Doable Daily Actions are:

3. FOLLOW MENU PLAN.
4. EAT MINDFULLY
Thankfully SP has a way to track goals to help. I customized the Quick Track on my SP Start Page.
Water- I need to drink more so 8 glasses/day for me. Also to drink a full glass when taking my meds. I got a filter and put it on my faucet,
Daily Exercise - Plan it. Schedule it. Have a Plan B. My simple plan is to Do Classical Stretch or walk a mile outside or inside with Leslie Sansone.
Menu Plan - Doing a weekly menu plan is the norm for me. For the 28 days I am using Engine 2 as my guideline.
Eat Mindfully - When consuming, truly taste my food and notice my body signals in regard to fullness. The following have helped me increase my awareness:

Meditation - In the morning helps set the tone for my day. Breathing helps calm me and help keep my focus. Taking 15 minutes to do this is like taking a coffee break but with better benefits. On March 11 a 21 day mediation challenge begins that fits into my plans.
In the meantime I am doing this:
I use the first few minutes to prepare, get comfortable, light a candle, etc. I have this downloaded onto my tablet so I can mediate anywhere I go.
While waiting for an appointment I like the short "Guided Relaxation" and "Breathing & Relaxation" with Jurian Hughes from Kripalu
Healing = Following doctors orders, taking my meds, avoiding acidic foods and doing what is listed above will help me heal. This is my time to take care of me.
