Odd but yummy

For my adventurous friends, I wanted to share this recipe that I found:

I had some red lentils in my kitchen that I didn't know what to do with, and so I tried this recipe which sounded weird to me but in the end was totally delicious! It's part of my continuing effort to satisfy my sweet tooth without consuming sugar. I did not use the maple syrup because I don't keep it in the house.

BTW, if any of you have any other 'sweet' recipes to share, please post them in the comments. Thanks!

That does sound like it could be good! I also love using quinoa as a "sweet" breakfast, or flipping the idea and using good ol' oatmeal as a savory dish - topped with an egg and chopped green onions, for instance.

I would never have guessed that would be good. Thats amazing. But you never know, most ppl don't think my savory green smoothies sound good and they are Delicious.

Banana ice cream. Frozen banana in the food processor until the texture of soft serve. You can put unsweetened cocoa powder in it, which is only 16 calories a tablespoon, or peanut butter, or neither. I could eat it every day.
