I tried adding the bread and stuff back in on a trial basis, and I found that it doesn't help. Well, it hasn't made much difference lately as I've realized that Im slipping back into old habits and over-eating out of boredom.
Haven't been sleeping well lately either, even with the exercise, hubby has had to do shoulder and back massages so that I can relax enough to fall asleep. It's annoying, because when I don't sleep, I don't care what I eat. And next thing I know I'm over-eating because I can't concentrate on anything else long enough to distract myself.
The kettlebells have been a lot of fun, even if they are trying to kill me. I think the 20 minute workout DVDs are too much for my body to handle at the moment, I am exhausted for the rest of the day if I do the whole thing. I tried instead to do half of the workout the other day, and while I still was sore, I had enough energy to do what I needed to for the rest of the day. I'm going to try and pare down those workouts to 10 minutes and then try to stay active for the rest of the day, at least until my body gets used to it. I think that is the reason I have not been able to sleep well, and it's frustrating as hell.
Oh, and I think I broke my toe at work the other night. Dropped a box corner down on my foot when my hands lost their grip on it. It's all black and blue and hurts like heck when I try to bend it. At least I can spread my toes out now without it hurting. But that is going to put a real damper on exercise. I'm going to concentrate on my upper body and core until my foot feels better.
