5% Challenge Blog - Healthy Habit 2

This will be a seven part blog, so bear with me!

1) What new habit you wish to develop?
2) How will you do that?
3) What are you doing to encourage yourself and keep on track?

1 - The new habit I wish to develop is eating at least 6 servings of freggies everyday.

2 - I went to the grocery store and stocked up on fruits and veggies. I'm also making a point to snack on a fruit, rather than something else, while at work. I've added a cup of orange juice to my breakfast routine too.

    Great choice! I can only go shopping once a month, so I buy fresh fruits and veggies to last a week (or more, as in the case of apples, oranges, squash, and so on). Then I buy frozen at Costco. Those are eaten after the fresh ones are gone. I've found I need, need, need fruit. Without it I get very hungry.

    I love my plain yogurt with berries and strawberries and nuts and sometimes honey. you can do this you are prepared. hugs Just wish fresh fruits and veggies did not cost so much

    Good concrete steps! I'm going to have a smoothie for breakfast too with Florida strawberries and papaya from husband's garden. emoticon

    I've discovered smoothies as a great way to get in fruits.
bananas and berries are my favorite.
