5% winter challenge day 1

Today I am blogging about a new healthy habit I need to start. I am going to try to develop a new habit of prayer before I eat my meal. I am a Christian but I have never said grace before I eat. I think this would be a nice new habit to pray that the food is consumed in a new attitude of gratfulness and respect for my provition of the food by God. Also that the food blesses me and provides me with healthy nutrition for my body to use. emoticon

    I confess I rarely remember to do that. I think that's because we all take for granted the good things in our lives and only realize they're blessings when we lose them. thanks for the reminder!

Second, what a wonderful goal. I am a Christian also and have fallen out of the habit of prayer at mealtime. You've given me incentive to return to that habit. God bless and keep you on this journey as you are making wonderful progress.
