Like seriously?

Saturday, March 02, 2013

Okay...lets begin with the fact this has nothing to do with healthy eating...this will be me feel free to stop reading....

My sister, her husband, and little one comes up most weekends now to work at the restaurant and stays in our childhood home with us on the problem really except she is now citified and pretending to blend as country...she literally can't just sit here for a full nite and talk or go outside, you have to go somewhere or do something...that being said, growing up, we never had never was a problem really...even when I was going for my master's, still no Internet..I hunkered down in the town library every chance I got...that being said, back in December, we took the plunge and got it...which is fine...guess that is why I have a dedication to sparkpeople now and am actually trying....but not the point...we have limited Internet...for the last two months with our weekend company, we have been within a .1 of our data this weekend, I just kept it shut off, seriously? Nothing is really THAT important it can't wait a day or after supper, she asked to turn it on...I will admit, I purposely forgot to turn it on...then I fell asleep on the couch..she asked if I turned it on and apparently I said no, although I have been known to sleep talk, so I guess I very well could've....then, she literally woke me up to know how to turn it on...really? What on the fricken Internet is so gosh darn important that you have to get on it...mind you, they have unlimited Internet at their house and they are glued to their sister thinks she is some big hot shot Suzy homemaker and runs a blog that apparently is the greatest thing the world has ever seen...honey, the blog can wait...I might be five years younger than you, but at least I know that you are supposed to put the Internet away and play with your kid...don't get me wrong, she is a great mom, but seriously, you can go without the Internet for five minutes....stupid me thought she could make it a weekend...whatever, she wants to waste our. Internet now, come the end of the billing cycle, she won't be able to use it or we will go over...and she can pay the overage fee...I do have the backing of everyone else here...we all think it is ridiculous the amount of time she seems to need to spend on the Internet.....

But tomorrow, I will have to pretend like nothing is wrong...because if you say anything to her, it's world war three in our house....(you think I'm joking, but when her baby was born, she came a month later and was staying a week with us, my dad kept calling the baby a nickname instead of his name, and she threw a hissy fit and packed up and went home)

Trust me, we are all stressed here, but really, one weekend away from the Internet shouldn't be so hard....(I was supposed to be sleeping right now, but since I was woken, I'm wide awake and grumpy and needed somewhere to vent)

Hopefully everyone else's weekend is rainbows and sunshine to make up for the crap I get....

She should use her smart phone or iPad with 3G or 4G and lay off your internet. It might be wise to let her know that her usage is not unlimited for a set price like it is for so many others and if she wants to avail herself of your service, she should hand over 5 dollars every day she uses it. I don't know why you should sponser her if you have limited funds or your service is not unlimited. I am lucky to have a sister that is very thoughtful and easy to talk to.
