1.) What "New Habit" I wish to develop ??

Saturday, March 02, 2013

It's already March !! Wow,, Can you believe it's already March? I'm just wondering where was the February? It went passed so fast like a blink of eyes. Our winter to Spring 5 % challenge is going well.I am so glad everyone in the challenge is so excited about it. and I am wishing everyone for the best in their challenge.

As for me, it is kind of slow... I have only lost 1 Pounds this first week of challenge. I know, I know, even one pounds is a lost and I am not complaining but to me, It seems most of people in the challenge are losing great amount of weight. Like 2, 3, 4 pounds. I am so amazed how they do it? Whatever they are doing is definitely working for them. I would like to find out if there is any secret of loosing a lots of weight. Any ideas?

I think I kinda have un idea why they are so successful of losing weights. Which is...They are developing a great HBIt or already has some great habits for weight loss. Such as, eat nutritional foods as their diet. ( Whole foods ) not some empty calories. And has some good work out plans and they are very diligent about it. No excuses. I am also very aware of foods. I already know ? which food I should eat, if I have a choice. But knowledge and doing it, is a two different things. So back to the question,

1.) what new habit I wish to develop ?

My answer to this would be.. I would like to develop a habit to choose whole foods when ever passible. And learn to eat clean. No process foods if passible.

How do I achieve this? I will write another blog about how I do it.

***Today is the starting day of 2nd. week of the challenge and I am still exited and motivated. Hopefully, I can keep going. Yes, I can. I need to keep reminding myself of my goal and I have to be positive about it. And never forget the appreciation for the supports from my SP friends and my Team mates. " Thank you all for the wonderful friendship and supports."

Let's go emoticon A's !! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

I actually put on 200 gms the 1st week so you are doing well. I think the non-processed clean food is a very good habit to adopt. Good luck on this leg of the journey!

first congratulations on your weight loss.that is emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon you should never compre yourself to other people as everyone is differant.they could be alot heavy thatn you so would automaticaly loose more, they could be new to loosing weight or back at it after a break so it will come of easy the first two weeks.they could have a differant metabolism as you or they could even be going to too much extremes to loose alot.always look to yourself.donīt go by just the scale use NSV also as a way to monitor your success.remember the slower you loose the weight the more you are lieable to keep it off.also when you loose too much weight in one go you are not only loosing fat but muscle as well.i think you are doing great.keep up the good work.i love the idea of eating clean for you.i do it all the time.there are several spark teams that deals with cooking and clean eating you could check them out.also check out the spark recipes though some of them have alot of paket stuff in there reciepes.i tend to cook everything fron scratch,it may take abit longer but it is worth it in the long is cheaper and you know exactly what is in it and you control, salt, fat etc.if you need any help feel free to ask i will help in anyway i can.know i think you are doing keep on keeping on.p.s.thanks for dropping by my blog and taking the time to comment.take care and keep smiling and remember emoticon

Don't compare your weight loss to anyone else's, you are only competing with yourself. emoticon

Mickey you are doing better than me. I know many of the others lose weight fast, but I don't mind being the slowest loser. It adds up whether it goes fast or slow and they say that when you lose it slow you improve your chances of keeping it off.
If you find out the "secret" let me know! Love your idea for a new habit. I can't wait to read your next blog.

    emoticon AND emoticon

Healthy habits certainly are addictive. I am starting off with the habit of daily tracking again hopefully this time I will keep going with it and not stop, like I've done in the past many times before.

Loss of any amount is better than a gain so be proud of that 1 pound at least it is in the right direction a loss.

I am proud of the achievements I have made in my life so far and so should you be proud of yourself and your achievements no matter how small.

We are all worth it. YOU ARE WORTH IT! Keep up your good habits!

Take care,

Paula emoticon

You got it, Mickey! What a great habit to get into. I've begun eating more whole foods and less processed foods recently, although it isn't easy sometimes. I also like your healthy habits quote. It's so very true.
