1) What new habit do I wish to develop?
I'm still looking to diminish the salt in my diet.

2) How will I do that? An Indian friend introduced me to amchoor powder...it is a powder made from dried unripe green mangoes. It has a delicious honey-like fragrance and a sour fruity flavor. Amchoor is used in curries, chutneys, pickles, and stir-fries, both with vegetables and with meats. It has a slight tenderizing effect in meat dishes. Use this powder to add a fruit flavor without adding moisture, or as a souring agent. He sauteed some cabbage with it and the taste was great...a little like pickled cabbage.

3) What am I doing to encourage myself and keep on track? I'm checking my sodium levels on the tracker.... and I'm doing okay
getting more and more used to less and less salt.
Going to try amchoor powder when I sautee my veggies.
