Baby, It's Cold Outside!

Saturday, March 02, 2013

Well, perhaps not to other people, but to someone who was born in Florida and raised in Georgia, anytime the thermometer dips below 50 I think it's cold. And today dropped down into the 30s! Granted it was a high 38 or 39, but still! At least it was sunny!

I'm a wimp when it comes to the cold.
BUT! I put on leggings underneath my exercise pants, wore two layers of shirts, my heavy fleece jacket, gloves, and a baseball cap and I went for a walk! I walked three laps of my neighborhood (4.5 miles) in 80 minutes [18 minute miles].

#StreakingintoSpring Day 2 Completed!

My body was pretty warm actually, but by the time I was done my face was FREEZING!

I've finished all the food I'm going to eat for today. I did go over my sodium, but not by much!
I've gotten in all 8 glasses of water, but I currently have a cup of hot tea and another 2 glasses of water that I'm planning on drinking before the end of the night.

Last night was Day 1 of no snacking after dinner. A dessert is allowed if I want one, but it has to be eaten right after dinner. Today is going to be Day 2. I'm going to make it happen! It will happen! It is going to be a streak that I continue!

I love writing my stories, but sometimes I want to take a break from the projects I normally work on and just write a short little tale, or even just a conversation. So I've been sidetracked (in the best possible way) by creating writing prompts for myself! Eventually the goal is to have enough to create a 365 Day Writing Prompt Journal. I thought I might begin to post some of the prompt ideas here to get some thoughts from you lovely Sparklers! And feel free to use them to get your own creative thoughts flowing!

Prompt #1: Create an unlikely conversation between two mafia men.

Thanks in advance!

Your blogs are so visually creative, Julianne. And the message of, "Do it anyway, I did!" is a great one.

As for prompts, how about a fantasy scene - "What would grocery stores be like if our pets did the shopping for us?"

I love prompt #1. That would have to be a conversation about taking care of the baby while the Mrs. goes to the store...

an unlikely conversation...one to the other.."so...what blend is that you smoke?...pungent ....other " marekish crude with plum touches..." as they linger in a room of hookas..
