I am posting this a little bit early because I have a few moments in preparing for next week and I'm not sure when I'll have another chance. Next week I'll be traveling and that will make somethings easier and others harder.
Week 9 review:
The fitness routine is going well. Watching less TV is also going well, and I really enjoy those days w/o TV with my honey. Eating produce is easy if I have them at home. The only difficulty is still eating well. This week it wasn't baked goods that got me; it was just over consumption from grazing. I've noticed that my trouble happens in the evening. It's not night time snacking b/c I don't go back to the kitchen after I'm done. I get more to eat either while I'm waiting for my dinner or after when I just need some more varied flavors. This is good to note b/c it will help me target solutions for this. Perhaps being on the road will make it easier to avoid snacking as I will be w/o a pantry, but my food choices will be different too b/c I'll be eating at restaurants.
Because it takes about a month to form new habits, I'm going to work on last week's goals some more, modified for being on the road.
Week's Goals:

At least 30 minutes of fitness each day. The hotel has a gym and there is a park nearby too. I'm also taking my yoga book.
I want to watch less TV:

On Sunday-Wednesday evening (when I'm away from home) I will read, sing, dance, respond to (e)mail...anything but turn on the TV. As I'm going for a training class, I can also review the material.
I want to eat within my calorie ranges.
I will use the plate method when eating out.
I will buy some produce to keep in the hotel room's 'fride for snacks.
I will not eat after dark, unless I 'vet' the calorie count in the food tracker FIRST.
