Goals for March

I'm keeping it very simple, and most of them goals are the same every months anyway, I'll reach them!! :)

. Counting calories
. No Junk! sugar / fat
. Sleep
. (Just do it) Move
. Move more
. Kefir

I have to go back at counting my calories, it really helped me in the past (but i'm so lazzzy..). Haven't lose in forever. I would love to lose 5 pounds in March.

The junk is hard to cut. I eat pretty well more than 90% of the time, always home made too. It takes me a lot of time but it's rewarding. I get these urges to eat junk and sugar though, I need to be strong. I also think login my calories will help me with that second point.

I need to make an extra effort to get longer nights. I find it hard, working all day, then coming home and have more chores to do, then there's no time left to relax.. I tend to push my bed time but when I'm tired the next day I'm pretty useless PLUS it makes me want to emotional eat junk. So yes.. SLEEP!

Just do it, move! See previous point. When I'm tired, there's no way I'm gonna exercise. It's also hard to fit exercise in my schedule.. That's something I can't really understand. Every body has the same amount of hours in a day, most people work, some even have children.. Yet, *I* can't seem to find time to go to the gym.. Doing an exercise video of 20 mins is hard for me to plan.

Move more! Since my goal is to lose weight, I have to sweat sweat and then sweat some more! I'm really good at maintening.. but I'm not at the right weight so that's not very helpful. See previous points, I need to start first, eh!

Kefir. Fermented beverage I'm doing at home.. I need to remember to start a new batch every 3 days and I need not to forget it in the pantry. So good for intestinal guts and digestion! Drinking kefir also helps me to stay off processed, sugary, junk food.


I think I'll take 2 challenges this month. 21 days challenge from YogaJournal and 21 days challenge of meditation from Chopra (starting March 11th for the latest). I'm not really good with commitment, I'm kind of a moody person.. But it seems like a nice way to spend March, and it'll end just before my birthday. Hope I'll make it happen.

Summer is coming..

    I so totally hear ya on the sugar eating, even though I have lost weight I am still in the learning process in that department but I know I will get there. emoticon

    it is tough to fit everything in a day! You do have to sleep more because sleep deprivation makes you tired, makes you more hungry for sugar. I know that now. Maybe you should try and schedule for 10 minutes instead of 20. I do find I am more active that way. By telling myself I'll go for a walk, to the gym or whatever for 10 minutes, I find it is a lot easier. Mentally it feels like 10 minutes is very easy... 20 seems a lot harder to fit in even if I often end up doing 20 to 30 minutes when I had set out to do 10. kind of wierd, but it works so I keep going for 10.

    I hear ya on the wanting some downtime. I'm a mom of 3 (ages 9, 5 and 8 months) and when I'm not chasing them around I'm working out. But I've really grown to enjoy my workouts and endorphin high that I'd rather do that than much else (I don't play video game or watch a lot of tv because I'd rather exercise).

You'll get there just keep working at it.
