I'm back. In my mind I never really left. I've been thinking of you all daily. Every time I was on the computer, hubby was like are you on Sparkpeople. When I told him 'no', he was like
and encouraged me to come back on...so here I am.
Let's see.... I've been eating veggies, drinking water and exercising. Yup, I went back to the gym. The first time since maybe before Halloween. I'm taking it slowly because I still have that stupid twinge in my back whenever I exercise. I did 15 minutes on the bike one day and 15 minutes on the elliptical the next. Both days I walked around the track. As a matter of fact, I might take a stroll around the park this afternoon.
I'm trying to set some small goals for myself. I want to lose at least 10 pounds this month, and at LEAST 5 pounds each month afterwards.
In May, my son is graduating from college. I want to feel good in the pictures and not hide like I usually do.
In June my baby son graduates from high school and I want to look good in the pictures again. Also, in June is my 45th birthday and my anniversary.
July is my family reunion.
Although my motivation is purely for vanity reasons, I gotta use whatever I got to motivate myself. Whatever the reason, good health will be the end result.
