I need more energy!

I need more energy to come from somewhere. I am doing exercises daily, trying to eat according to SP recommendations, but more energy is slow coming. Any ideas from some out there that has 80# to lose and multitude of health issues?

    I would rather get all my nutrients from my foods but it was recommended to me to take a multivitamin when I started this journey. So I take a centrum multi vitamin for 55+ and I do believe it helps me with energy. I also do B12 supplement. I know that my B12 can be on the low side and find this helpful. Just some thoughts.

The recommendation below to make sure you include fruits and veggies is key.

    RDEE22: had all my labs done in January 2013...everything was within normal limits except my bs was a tiny bit high.

    Are you eating enough ? food = energy and no food = no energy. So, do make sure you're eating enough nutrient dense food to fuel your day. One thing to do is make sure you're eating plenty of fresh fruit and veggies. Are you eating 6-9 servings each day ? If not, increasing the amount of fresh fruit and veggies you eat can help increase your energy.

So, try eating a bit more each day so that you don't feel deprived. Eating more fresh veggies is a way to add more calories in a healthy manner.

As Popeye says,"Eats yer spinach". Eating plenty of dark leafy greens really can help.
