The challenge for the 5% challenge this week is to blog about what new habits I want to develop. I have been thinking about it, and I find that eating healthy is already a habit... as is exercising regularly. I had to think about HOW I exercise. I guess the main habit I would like to develop would be running outside on a regular basis. I'm not going to do it right now, as the weather is still cold and snowy, and the sidewalks are icy, and I don't want to fall and break something. But once the Winter weather has passed I want to get out there and run. Last Fall I was too self conscious to enjoy running outside, especially by myself, but I need to get used to it, and that takes just getting out there and doing it. I run 4-5 miles on a regular basis on the treadmill, so why not move it outside when the weather improves?
I am off to walk the dog, then to the Farmer's Market, before heading to my parents' house to make lunch for them. I hope to get the dog out for a good long walk this afternoon. Have a good day everyone!
