Bittersweet day. I am proud of how my daughter has handled her move, organizing details, researching her new home and area, lining up job possibilities. No matter what age they are, it's hard to see them go. I'm glad my mom came to the airport with us to see her off. We went out for breakfast before I had to get to work. I had a generous Greek omelet, knowing it would probably do for both breakfast and lunch, and it did. It helped too that I had another very busy day at work and less time to think about daughter except to wonder how she and dad were making out with the two cats. The cats proved to be good travelers, thanks be.
Lost nothing this week as expected. I'm determined to make Week 2 of the Winter 5% Challenge a better one. Husband left me a ripe papaya from the garden, so I made a blender drink with it this morning for a good start. I'm pleased to have sore muscles, evidence of yesterday's workout at work when I assembled shelving and stocked it.
