What are you learning about yourself?

I think the reason some of us struggle on our weight loss journey is because we have some things to learn about ourselves along the way. One of my SparkFriends (111Butterfly111) touched on this in one of her recent blogs.

Thank you 111Butterfly111. I've been mulling over what you said for many days now. emoticon

I feel that until we learn those lessons about ourselves, we may get stuck for a time or progress may be about as slow as a emoticon .

For me, the scale hasn't moved in close to 3 months. What makes this time different the the other countless times I've tried to lose weight? I DIDN'T GIVE UP THIS TIME!! emoticon Thank you SparkFriends & thank you SparkPeople!!!!! I know it's because of YOU!

I have continued to keep making healthy food choices & I've have continued to exercise. I hear over & over in SparkPeople articles & on your blogs (thank you SparkFriends) that the changes are continuing to happen on the inside, even if I can't see the progress on the outside -- YET! emoticon

As one of my carpool buddies is fond of saying, "Suck it up, Buttercup!!" ~ Sheri A. ~

I told my hubby that after having cancer, I was going to get this weight off one way or another. I WILL NOT let it beat me. With God's help the cancer did not win & with God's help I will also win this battle of the bulge. I am DETERMINED!!!

Positive mental attitude is the key.

So, lets roll up our sleeves & get to work!! What can you learn about yourself today?
